Dr. Vineeth Kumar, MD is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with specialized expertise in functional medicine, men’s health, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), sports medicine, low testosterone, erectile dysfunction, pediatrics, behavioral health, preventive care, chronic disease management, and medical weight loss.
A Dallas native, Dr. Kumar earned his Bachelor’s degree from Austin College and his medical degree from St. George’s University. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Baton Rouge General, where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Kumar provides comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions, including acute illness, hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, anxiety, and depression. He is deeply committed to delivering patient-centered, preventive care and developing long-term health strategies tailored to each individual.

This was my first visit with Dr Kumar. I was very impressed with my entire experience. The office staff was friendly, and very helpful. I had a wait time of less than 30 minutes, and even the other patients in the waiting area was very friendly and helpful. Dr Kumar’s nurses were very friendly, and very knowledgeable. When I first met Dr Kumar, I was surprised by how young he was, or maybe I am just getting old; he listened closely, and actually took the time to get to know me, and my medical issues. I was impressed with his knowledge and friendly demeanor. I was not rushed! I was very impressed with Dr Kumar, and his entire staff!! Highly recommended!!

After the appt was booked, I was called and told the provider was ill. In my opinion, the appt should never have been allowed to be booked.

Finding a physician with ZocDoc was very easy. The physician office was aware of my appointment and contacted me prior to the appointment with what to bring so I was well aware. The doctor and staff were very friendly. Dr. Gilerman had great bedside manner and answered all of our questions.

We just moved to the area and were needing a family doctor. The office receptionist and medical assitants were very polite and friendly. When we met Doctor Gilerman I was surprised at how friendly he was. He was not like most doctors who just rush through your appointments. He took the time to ask questions and really showed he was interested and cared.
