Dr. Vineeth Kumar, MD is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with specialized expertise in functional medicine, men’s health, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), sports medicine, low testosterone, erectile dysfunction, pediatrics, behavioral health, preventive care, chronic disease management, and medical weight loss.
A Dallas native, Dr. Kumar earned his Bachelor’s degree from Austin College and his medical degree from St. George’s University. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Baton Rouge General, where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Kumar provides comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions, including acute illness, hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, anxiety, and depression. He is deeply committed to delivering patient-centered, preventive care and developing long-term health strategies tailored to each individual.

My appointment involved discussion of highly sensitive health information, and it was handled in a way that felt loud and lacking discretion. Patient privacy should be a priority in any medical office. Unfortunately, I did not feel mine was respected.

My experience with Dr. Kumar an his staff was amazing he was thorough an explained everything clearly about my visit an expectations. I'm greatful that I chose him to handle my care. The front desk receptionist was nice also. From begining to end was amazing.

I had my annual physical with Dr. Vineeth Kumar, and I genuinely had a great experience. He’s extremely thorough and actually takes the time to listen, not just rush through the appointment. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time.

My experience with Doctor Kumar was a pleasant appointment from the much appreciated reminder emails and text messages .Friendly staff upon arrival to fill out needed paperwork and insurance info which was a short amount of time. The office is a modern facility doctor was young but had a great bed side manner ask inadept questions and his support staff were great ! 2nd time I saw Dr. Kumar and I will NEVER go back. Waited over an hour, he spent 5 minutes with me! He said 2 sentences and said “give me a minute” then came right back into the room and said “follow me” took me to the desk to leave! Didn’t answer my question, didn’t get the specialist referral he recommended, and not a word from him in the RX refills for the medication he put me me on! Unbelievably rude and a waste of time and money. I will never recommend him.

The front office staff was not friendly at all, but the medical assistants were. I waited over an hour and a half before I finally saw the doctor, and I arrived 20 minutes early as instructed. Overall I was satisfied with my visit but I’ll probably keep looking for a new pcp.
