Since 1980, Sanford Dermatology has provided patients with the highest quality dermatology care in an understanding and supportive environment. The practice boasts three locations in Sanford, Pittsboro, and Lillington, North Carolina.
Sanford Dermatology’s team of physicians and medical professionals work together to ensure patients feel comfortable from check-in to check-out. They spend time educating patients about their unique skin care needs and any necessary treatment options, so patients can make informed decisions throughout every step of their health care plan.
The team at Sanford Dermatology strives to get to know each patient individually. They want patients to feel like part of the family and are committed to providing exceptional patient care. Although the dermatologists regularly diagnose and treat common skin conditions, such as rosacea, psoriasis, and acne, they also offer cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology services, such as Botox® injections.

I waited over a month to see this doctor. I was referred by several doctors to be seen for a “chronic” illness. I was seen for a total of maybe 5 minutes, where bloodwork and biopsies weren’t completed. Extremely disappointed. However, the office staff that checked me in and answered calls were extremely friendly and helpful. Now, I am still unwell searching for answers and don’t know what to do. As a patient, I feel very unheard, unseen, and ignored. Thanks.

The office staff was very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately the provider ruined my experience as she had no bedside manner. She did not seem like she wanted to listen to what I had to say and when she did she would either cut me off or said she could not help me with the that due to my insurance specifics. I understand that there are insurance issues however there is a way to say that and it is not by walking out of the room.

Really quick visit. Did not address many of my concerns and prescribed medications without explaining to me what they do or how long before I should see progress, etc. I felt like she was literally speaking as fast as possible to move on to her next patient.

We are new to the area and I have been working on finding our new doctors since we moved. I was so fortunate to have a long-time friend from out of the area mention her childhood friend was a dermatologist in my town. Just a few weeks later I was able to get in to see Dr. Kleinman. The staff is wonderful, the office conveniently located, and she is fantastic! She doesn’t rush you, is very thorough, and is a really nice person in general. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

This dermatologist was excellent and saved the day for me. I had to travel 2 hours and 30 minutes round trip because the dermatologists in my area were all booked through 2024, but it was worth it. The dermatologist was knowledgeable, lovely, and friendly, and the entire team was awesome.

I felt very uncomfortable as there was 3 additional people in the room training and observing during what I thought was going to be a private appointment with the doctor. Unprofessional and would not recommend. I bought a $60 bottle of sun tan lotion (recommend of course) just to leave in peace. Horrible experience.

I drove over an hour to see Dr Kleinman due to not receiving any clear direction for my skin and nail problems. Prior to seeing Dr Kleinman, I had gone to two local dermatologists, a physician and a nurse practitioner. None of these individuals were able to help me. After 6 months, I began researching for an out of town specialist. Dr Kleinman examined my hands thoroughly, asking questions that no one had previously asked. Following the examination, she diagnosed me not only with hand eczema, but psoriasis of the nails with underlying psoriatic arthritis. Once I got home, I researched symptoms and pictures , which I feel matched her diagnosis. Although having an autoimmune disorder is not what I hoped to hear, it was so positive for me to finally have a diagnosis that made sense. Taking control of your own health journey is so important when you’ve been misdiagnosed. Thank you Dr. Kleinman. I look forward to working with you to improve my overall health.
