Hi there! I'm an Attachment-focused private practice psychotherapist specializing in Couples and Relationship Therapy in-person in El Dorado Hills and virtually throughout California. I see couples and families in addition to individuals wanting to explore relational issues, including the relationship they have with themselves.
I have extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), considered to be one of the most effective approaches with the highest success rates for clients with relationship issues. I have additional training in working with racial identity issues and parents in the perinatal phase of life as well as in providing inclusive and affirming therapy to folx who identify as LGBTQ+.
Despite using an Attachment-based lens in my therapeutic work, I also draw from other Evidence Based Practices including but not limited to EFT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems and Play Therapy. I have additional training in Neurosequential Model in Reflection and Supervision.
