Welcome to SARCO Legacy Group, LLC: Where Healing Meets Heritage, and Legacy Fuels Liberation
At SARCO Legacy Group, LLC, our mission is to create an emotionally safe and culturally affirming space where clients are empowered to heal, evolve, and reclaim their personal narratives. We serve individuals and families through therapy, coaching, consultation, and education—with a focus on dismantling generational trauma and building emotional legacies that inspire growth and wholeness. Rooted in the values of cultural responsiveness, clinical excellence, and collective care, we proudly stand as a Black-owned, woman-led therapeutic agency offering services that are not only client-centered, but legacy-focused.
We don’t offer cookie-cutter therapy. We don’t believe in quick fixes or rigid solutions. We believe in collaboration, transparency, and transformative accountability. Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, working through grief, healing from trauma, or trying to find meaning in your story, we walk beside you with care and intention.
We use a multi-modal, evidence-based approach that integrates traditional therapeutic modalities with culturally informed, client-driven practices. This approach acknowledges the social, spiritual, generational, and systemic dynamics that influence mental wellness.
Core Therapeutic Modalities Include:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); helping clients identify and restructure harmful thought patterns to improve emotional regulation and behavior;
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT); targeting specific goals with an emphasis on strengths and practical solutions;
Narrative Therapy; empowering clients to reauthor their own stories and challenge internalized negative narratives;
Mindfulness & Somatic Practices; offering grounding techniques to manage stress and increase emotional awareness;
Trauma-Informed Care; recognizing the pervasive impact of trauma and ensuring that all treatment avoids re-traumatization;
Grief and Loss Counseling; holding compassionate space for loss, ambiguous grief, and life after loss;
Family Systems Therapy; identifying generational patterns and promoting healthier family communication and dynamics.
We meet clients where they are—emotionally, spiritually, and mentally—and tailor our work accordingly. Every client is unique; therefore, every treatment plan is thoughtfully crafted to reflect their lived experience and future aspirations.
Our Philosophical Commitments
Our values are not performative; they are deeply embedded in every interaction and clinical decision we make. At SARCO Legacy Group, LLC, we operate from a philosophy that embraces radical empathy, cultural justice, and legacy-building.
Healing is Revolutionary; We view therapy as an intentional act of restoration and resistance. For Black and marginalized communities in particular, therapy is a space to reclaim power, unpack systemic harm, and restore mental and emotional sovereignty.
Legacy Matters; SARCO is more than just a name—it reflects our founder’s heritage and the acknowledgment that what we heal today shapes what our children will inherit tomorrow. We guide clients in examining and reshaping inherited behaviors, beliefs, and responses.
Therapy Should Feel Safe; We understand the fear and uncertainty that can accompany beginning therapy. That’s why we’ve created a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and confidential environment that reflects psychological safety.
Whole-Person, Whole-Journey Approach; We believe that mental health is interwoven with physical wellness, spirituality, relationships, and cultural identity. Our work addresses the full ecosystem of the client, not just isolated symptoms.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to for this one. If you’re looking for a therapist who’s real, grounded, and genuinely cares, I highly recommend Rachel. She creates a space that feels safe, nonjudgmental, and honest.
She listens in a way that makes you feel seen, and she helps you work through things without ever making you feel rushed or broken. Her approach is warm, intuitive, and supportive, but she also gently challenges you to see things differently.
If you’re going through a hard season, trying to heal from trauma, or just need someone solid in your corner, Rachel is it. I can’t recommend her enough!
