Despite the onslaught of managed care and the HMO environment, the practice of Alan Schrager, M.D., F.A.C.S., in Mamaroneck, New York remains devoted to a personalized, caring, individual approach to care for our patients.
We keep our patients fully informed, speaking in simple terms that are easily understood. No patient leaves here unhappy, uninformed, or with unanswered questions in their mind.
We offer the highest quality of care and up-to-date technology. Dr. Schrager has been performing TUNA treatment for BPH in his office under local anesthesia with great success. He also diagnoses and treats general urological disorders. Dr. Schrager and his staff are proud of the quality they provide.

Dr. Schrager was extremely personable and friendly, with the perfect amount of directness and professionality that is a breath of fresh air by seemingly more and more of today's standards. Dr. Schrager sat there and listened to my concerns without interruption, having me feel comfortable to the point where I felt I was talking with family. All the nervousness I felt prior to my visit (as I am a first timer to the Urologist, coupled with the anxiety of the incertainty) all but was non-existant. I would highly recommend Dr. Schrager to anyone in need of his specialist services based on his demeanor and personality, let alone his professionalism and thorough nature. 5 Stars.

This was my first time and Dr. Schrager was a good listener and asked a lot of questions to understand my condition. I felt he genuinely wants to help. The only negative was that there were a few patients before me and I had had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time. Might be a good idea to call the office and find out when the wait is less.

Dr. Schrager has been my Urologist for over 15 to 20 years. He has also treated my family members. I am always able to get an appointment when I need it. I am in contact with the doctor by phone if I have any questions or concerns. The office staff works with me when I need to schedule an appointment as well as, help me when I am having a problem or need a refill. Doctor was personable and efficient. Office is older, small and cramped. Assistant was doing photocopies in his office while we were waiting to speak! However he was thorough and professional. I wouldn't go back though.
