In my profession I have dealt with hundreds of clinicians and witnessed their services. I work for a major NYC hospital group (Hint: Ivy league) with so many campuses. My experience with Dr. Arapos and his staff as a patient puts his office in my top 10 NYC list. It was a pleasure to visit Dr. Arapos.

The office of Dr. Arapos is very friendly and accessible. Appointments are easy to make and the receptionist is warm and friendly.
The doctor is attentive, great bedside manner, and easy to talk to. He listens to all your concerns and does not make you feel stupid for asking questions. Dr. Arapos addressed all my concerns and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed or that I was bothering him.
He has a gentle and caring way of communicating and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor.

I made the appointment the day before after a really bad experience at a nearby doctor. What a difference a day makes! Dr Arapos was super nice and very thorough.

I suffer from PTSD of hospitals and doctors and I came very close to cancelling this appointment last minute because of it. The check in process is a little confusing with the text messaging so for those reading this make sure that even though it implies you can park and your car and wait till they call you, it doesn’t. Please go directly into the office (plenty of room currently with covid that no one waiting in lobby) They have streamlined staff to also low people exposure and it’s just the doctor and his nurse. He even answered the phone when I called the first time. Have never experienced that kind of focus or interaction with a human hospital before. He CALLS for results instead of forcing you to come in or take additional work time off to come in personally to go over normal test results. He is more thorough on his physical exam than most doctors I’ve had In the past. He has excellent bed side manner and I appreciate and respect his goals and visions for his practice. Glad I found him and will be returning, which coming from me should say something very positive about this experience.
