Dr. Segal saw me right away for an emergency, even though I was not an established patient. I am beyond petrified of dentists and even though I brush, my teeth were in bad shape. He performed two extractions for me and I experienced no pain! He was very reassuring throughout the whole procedure and was very good at explaining both what he was doing and what he wanted to do. His staff, from treatment coordinator to hygienists and assistants couldn't have been nicer and more welcoming. The office is very up-to-date with the latest technology and has a beautiful view out of the treatment room windows. I finally feel like I'm in good hands dental wise, with an office I will enjoy coming back to. Thank you!

I would like to express how lovely this office is. It was my first time here and I had a broken tooth I was rather worried about. I was welcomed with a bright smile from Wafa and felt immediately at ease. I was brought back and given the best care within a prompt manner. I never felt rushed along or unheard. From scanning my mouth and explaining what was going on without making me feel less than. Dr. Segal was able to fix my tooth and restore its integrity, answered all my questions, did an incredible job while being so kind. Thank you so much.

Amazing experience at this dentist! I understand that sounds very odd because most people do not like the dentist. They are friendly and knowledgeable. Service was fast, but they take their time with you to really understand what you need and, most importantly, tell you what you don’t need. I did not feel pressured like all they wanted to do was make money. Will be referring my friends and family here.

Returned to have some dental work done after a great experience. He and his staff did not disappoint. They make me feel comfort, safe, and heard even when the procedure made me anxious. I was in and out in under an hour with two teeth out and very minimal pain. 24 hours after, I feel great and can get things done with little to no discomfort.

I went to this office to be seen for a laser treatment for a cold sore. This is my first time receiving laser treatment and it has helped immensely. Dr. Memarian explained the procedure to me, the limitations of laser treatment (as in what to really expect she was not upselling me which I appreciated).
The treatment itself was very brief and aftercare instructions were very clear. The staff called in my prescriptions very quickly.

I had a great experience at this practice. It was my first time, and while I didnt see Dr Segal himself, the dentist I did see was wonderful. I came in for a checkup/cleaning and ended up having to get minor work done, but they were able to fit me in. The hygienist and dentist were very calming, friendly and informative. The office was bright and very modern, with state of the art diagnostic tools. There was a mix up with my appointment; for some reason Zocdoc had the appointment at 10 and the office had me at 9, and when I arrived for a 10 am appointment, the receptionist was very flexible and worked around the mix up. The charges for my procedures were explained to me in detail before proceeding, which I found extremely helpful. I will be returning next week for a follow up.
The only con with this practice is the building parking is pricey, and there are not really any alternatives. Street parking has a 1 hour limit, which usually isnt enough time for a dr appointment.

This place up sells with procedures insurance won't cover. Was not a good experience and created distrust. They want to see me again in 3 months I suppose so they can recommend more procedures my insurance won't cover and then charge a 2.5% convenience fee on anything I agree to. They seem more interested in taking money than taking care of patients.

When I arrived, I was unable to hold back tears from my fear and embarrassment due to my broken and infected tooth. The staff comforted me and made sure I knew everything would be okay. The dental assistants were friendly, calming, and clearly explained the procedure and full payment process. Dr. Segal was very gentle and kind while speaking to me and proforming on my tooth. The numbing went by quickly with a slight pinch and I came out feeling so much better. Now I have my pain meds and antibiotics to get me through the healing and I couldn’t be happier to follow up with the dentist.

I was able to make an appointment super last minute for emergency work on a Saturday. The office staff helped right away, and Dr. Segal fixed my problem while providing a thorough explanation. Dr segal is fabulous with a capital F. He is attentive and good at his craft. I needed a tooth removal and an implant on my power jaw. The actual service was fine - not spectacular, not horrible. One of the most uncomfortable x-rays of my life; the tools they used hurt and seemed really outdated for 2021. The hygienist was super nice and did all the work, the doc was in for under 10 mins but was fine. Beware: bldg parking is $3 per 15 mins and the doc validated up to 45 mins, while street parking on Wilshire is 1 hour. This gets to be a problem when it takes 40 mins just to be seen like me. Plan on 90 mins. Also there’s no social distancing as the waiting room is a super cramped space. Those things considered, I made the appt in 24 hrs and was seen on a Saturday so I’m willing to put up with a “fine” experience for that level of accommodation.

The Experience: I have never had such a pleasant taste left in my mouth after visiting the dentist (pun not intended). Dr. Segal is charismatic, knowledgeable, and SO EASY TO WORK WITH! The experience I had here felt less like a visit to the dentist and more like when you get your first car and your older cousin takes care of you with tinted windows, the best air freshener, a Bose sound-system, and connects you to the best places to do all of your service. What made this all so? Quality care and quality materials. From the dental chairs, which felt like they were stripped from a Mercedes S-Class, to the soft gloves, everything Dr. Segal uses is premium!
The Work Done: I came in to get a cleaning - I left having taken care of issues that have been unresolved since I was a preteen. X-Rays done, painlessly and in no time by the dental hygienist, Joy. Then my cleaning - I was treated quickly, with NO PAIN, as well as educated on what is causing my recent plaque build-up, as well as what to avoid as I grow into my older age. Then, my bicycle-injury-chipped-front-tooth has been discolored since I was 12 years old - Dr. Segal filled my wear-facets and gave me a crown to cover my fake, yellowed tooth. My teeth are finally all the same shade of white! I feel amazing.
I have already referred all of my family to Dr. Segal, as this guy is ONE-OF-A-KIND! Thank you for taking excellent care of me.

The office it self is very clean and the staff are friendly. I wish they would have disclosed that Parking is pricey and NOT validated. Also the prices of the work I had done seemed very very high. I called another office for a second opinion and they did the same great quality work for less.

I have no idea how this office has such high reviews. This was by far the worst experience I've had with a dentist. I made an appointment for a Friday afternoon specifically for a dental cleaning. Someone came in soon after I arrived to do my X Rays, which took way longer and was way more painful than I've ever experienced before. Then I waited for 30+ minutes in the chair for the dentist to see me. He came in, looked at my teeth for about 30 seconds and said they looked good. I assumed the next step would be the cleaning, but the receptionist came in to ask when I would like to schedule my cleaning for as the hygienest wasn't there... I had already taken time off work to be there for a cleaning only to find out I couldn't get one that day. If it's their policy to require an exam before scheduling a cleaning that needs to be made explicitly clear because that is not standard and I was able to make the appointment for a cleaning on Zocdoc. I absolutely will not be returning for the cleaning.
