I showed up about 7-8 minutes late due to a train delay. They were understanding. The receptionist had a lot of trouble looking up my insurance info. I think it took over 15 minutes. By this time I hadn’t even seen the provider. The receptionist also had a pile of patient forms with social security numbers and all their other info in plain sight of anyone who approached the window. That seemed like a huge HIPAA violation to me. I sat in the waiting area for almost an HOUR before the provider even came out. They finally put me in an exam room at that point, but immediately left. No apology, no explanation. Barely any talking at all, actually. After sitting alone in the room (and noticing how dirty the floor was) for 10 more minutes, I finally just had to leave without being seen at all. They also had the audacity to act surprised when I told them I needed to leave after over an hour of essentially being ignored. Really strange and disappointing experience overall.

The office was clean and staff were very friendly. They honored my appointment even though I was late and there was no wait time. The doctor took their time to explain and answer my questions as well. Overall I had a great experience.

I called in for an emergency appointment at 4:30pm on Tuesday April 6th 2021. I was in soo much pain with an abscessed tooth. Fortunately Dr. Kiumehr was gracious enough to take me. He was so thorough and so informative with a wonderful bedside manner. He did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth and gums as well as drained the abscess. I felt so much relief and had no more pain. I have not seen a dentist in quite some time, hence causing a lot of gum damage. Doctor Kiumehr has been a god send in helping me correct that. My gums and teeth feel great just after one treatment. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Hello, I've been trying to find a dentist for a long time. I came across Zocdoc and I thought it would be a simple process. I entered my insurance information, answered all of the questions, and set the appointment with Serenity Dentist on Rockaway Parkway, Brooklyn, NY. When I arrived at Serenity Dentist office, the lady behind the counter immediately told me that she doesn't take my insurance. Hmm, why did they say that they accepted my insurance online? I was still asked for my social security number after I gave her my picture ID, and yet I was still denied service. My teeth are still in pain now, so not only did I waste money on an Uber, but I also wasted my time period. I wouldn't recommend this Dentist office because that was a bad first impression for me.

I went here for tooth pain and end up getting a root canal nothing was explained. He added a temporary filling which fell out the next day. Also he sent me home with a cracked tooth after looking at the X-ray and didn’t even noticed the cracked tooth. I noticed once the numbing went down. Terrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend.
