Dr. Haicent Zhang
I am a seasoned practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with over 35 years of experience. My expertise includes treating chronic pain and conditions related to gynecology and fertility with acupuncture and integrative health methods. As a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac) and holder of a Medical Doctor degree from Tianjin University of Chinese Medicine, I am well-equipped to provide top-notch treatment. We accept medical insurance and specialize in treating chronic pain, infertility, diabetes, allergies, asthma, depression, headaches, insomnia, stress, irregular menstrual cycles, frequent urination, prostate problems, and sexual dysfunction.
Dr. Haicent Zhang is a highly experienced acupuncturist and TCM practitioner with over 30 years of experience. He is licensed in Acupuncture (L.Ac) and holds a Medical Doctor degree in TCM from Tianjin University of Chinese Medicine, as well as a Postdoctoral Certificate from the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine Science. He has studied under the guidance of Dr. YangJun, a sixth-generation lineage holder in TCM for almost 30 years and is also proficient in Medical Qigong, Taiji, Tuina, Mind-Body Medicine, and Meditation.
Dr. Zhang is currently the Dean of Integrative Health and Medicine College of University East-West Medicine (UEWM) and has also served as a visiting Researcher of the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine Exchange and Cooperation across the Straits at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in Feb 2016. He has published 33 papers in peer-reviewed journals and has been a referee for several Chinese Medicine Science and Buddha Cultural and Medicine journals. Additionally, Dr. Zhang has spent nearly two years researching Medical Qigong & Taiji and Mindfulness Meditation at MCRI (Molecular Cardiology Research Institute) of Tufts Medical Center, Harvard Mclean Hospital.
Our clinic specializes in treating a variety of conditions, including chronic pain, stress, anxiety, gynecological conditions, lower immunity, and post-stroke symptoms. We use various TCM techniques such as acupuncture, tuina, moxibustion, cupping, Qigong, Tai chi, and meditation to achieve optimal results.
