People come to therapy for a variety of reasons. Some seek relief from anxiety or depression or are wanting support around life transitions or painful life experiences. Some feel dissatisfied or unfulfilled in certain areas of their lives and may feel stuck in unhelpful patterns they wish to change. Some long for more closeness in relationships but find it hard to reveal themselves to others. Some may feel they don't know themselves very well.
Therapy offers the chance for deeper self understanding, personal growth and decreased emotional suffering when provided by an empathic, engaged and thoughtful therapist in an atmosphere of warmth, safety and trust.
I bring 23 years of experience to my practice. I work with adults and young adults a wide range of issues and disorders, including difficulties in relationships, difficult life transitions, low self esteem, Depression Disorders, Adjustment Disorders, Anxiety Disorders (including Social Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder)
I completed my residency training at the MGH/McLean Psychiatry Residency Program. I have also received additional training in Psychoanalysis from the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
Below are my Fees:
$350 for Initial and ongoing 45 minute Psychotherapy sessions
$450 for Initial Medication Evaluations
$250 for 25 minute Medication Follow-up appointments.

Sherri, unlike many providers I’ve seen before, sat and took the time to actually listen to me. She was the only provider that gave me the entire duration of the hour and then some. She didn’t rush me, she asked me a series of questions in between topics I discussed with her and was an active listener. I’d recommend her to any of my friends or colleagues.
