Signal Practice
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with nearly two decades of experience helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, substance use, and relationship challenges. My approach combines evidence-based methods like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with a process I call the Signal Circle — a way of understanding emotions not as problems, but as signals that point toward something meaningful.
Many of my clients manage work, relationships, and responsibilities — yet still feel overwhelmed, reactive, or emotionally disconnected underneath. They may notice strong emotional responses, repeating patterns, or habits like overthinking or numbing — and want to understand what’s really going on beneath the surface. In our work together, we slow things down and use those reactions as data, tracing them back to earlier experiences, unmet needs, or internal narratives that deserve attention.
The goal is not just symptom relief, but emotional clarity — the kind that helps you move forward with more awareness, boundaries, and connection to yourself.
I also work with clients who are exploring their relationship with substances. My approach to recovery is respectful, collaborative, and grounded in harm reduction. Whether you’re considering change or working to maintain it, I’ll meet you where you are.
My work is LGBTQ+ affirming, trauma-informed, and client-centered. I provide a thoughtful, nonjudgmental space to explore what you’re feeling — and why.
Whether you're new to therapy or returning to it, you're welcome here.
