SkinCareLab Founder, dermatologist Dr Brad Katchen, received his training at the Johns Hopkins University and Georgetown University Medical School. He completed his internship at Stanford University, continuing on with a post graduate fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Subsequently, he trained in Dermatology at The Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he is currently Assistant Professor of Dermatology and teaches the residency program’s cosmetic clinic. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.His fellow physicians consistently vote him onto the Castle Connolly Best Doctors list and he is included yearly in the list of “Super Doctors.”
Aesthetic treatments include chemical peels, Botox, Restylane and Juvederm injections, Ulthera, Thermage, Fraxel, Gentle Waves, Genius Microneedling + Radiofrequency, Laser hair removal as well as Laser treatment for the elimination of facial and leg veins, age/sun spots and wrinkles.

The doctor was great. The staff was friendly too. But this clinic does not keep up with the current technology. There is no online portal. Every communication has to be done via the phone. I wish they could invest some money to digitalize their operations.

Dr. Katchen and his staff are very friendly and professional. I felt at ease and respected. The doctor was patient and showed great understanding of my issue. He prescribed a course of treatment and has bloodwork done. To my surprise, I received a follow-up call from the doctor less than 24 hours later, to discuss my bloodwork and provide recommended course of action. He’s a good listener, highly experiences, and I felt like he genuinely cares about my entire well being.
