Skypiatrist was launched in 2016 because we saw a need for high-quality, personalized psychiatric services that were also convenient for patients. Due in large part to the Coronavirus pandemic, the need for convenient, online care has only increased.
At Skypiatrist, we provide medication-management for psychiatric conditions. We recognize that the best mental healthcare comes from long-term relationships founded on trust. Unlike other telemedicine services, at Skypiatrist, you'll see the same doctor at every appointment to ensure that you get the care you deserve from someone who knows you. Our medical doctors see you where you are - at home, work, or even while traveling. Your appointment will always start as scheduled, and you'll never waste precious time stuck in traffic, sitting in a waiting room, or standing in line at the pharmacy - we'll send your prescriptions directly to them.
We take your privacy very seriously. We provide initial appointments and follow-ups through a secure, HIPAA compliant video chat built right into our website. I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Paul. I attended my appointment and participated in the session for about 28 minutes. After I chose to end the call, I was told it would be documented as a missed session because there wasn’t enough time to complete a note. I do not believe attending and participating in an appointment should be considered a no-show simply because I ended the session early. Throughout the visit, I felt my concerns were dismissed and that my family member’s documented diagnosis was not taken seriously. I left feeling unheard, invalidated, and frustrated. Patients deserve to be treated with respect, listened to, and have their medical records accurately reflect what occurred during their appointments. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
