Dr. Asma Zia and her assistant were both absolute pleasures to be around. Despite my awkwardness and anxieties, they both made sure to show me kindness while remaining professional.
We need more people like her in the healthcare industry :)

The dentist is always scary for me to go to, and that probably comes from the childhood trauma in the 60's. It is always nice to be in an office and feel comfortable. I really liked Dr. Zia and will recommend her and her staff. Everyone was very nice, and technology has changed so much that it made my teeth cleaning much better. I will def go back to them with future visits.

I had a very comfortable and inviting visit . Everyone I met was calm and generally happy to be at work. My wait time was about 25 seconds and I did not feel rushed, so I was able to discuss questions about the exam and process. I highly recommend this practice.

I rarely leave Zocdoc reviews, but I felt compelled to this time! I usually avoid seeing specialists who rotate between multiple offices because those visits can feel rushed. My plan was to have several consultations before deciding on gum grafting, but I was impressed right away. He’s incredibly personable and kind, approaching you as a person first before a patient- never pushy, very transparent, and makes sure you understand the full picture so you can make an informed decision at your own pace.

I was referred by my dentist for receding gums. The pre-appointment paperwork took over 20 minutes. I was seen promptly, but then informed the periodontist was on vacation—a planned trip I should’ve been told about. I had noted multiple times that I have high dental anxiety and need each step explained to help me cope. I was told I needed 14 x-rays, which became a traumatic experience. The device repeatedly triggered my gag reflex, and despite asking for breaks and adjustments, the tech seemed rushed and dismissive. I was in tears, and no one acknowledged my distress. When I asked what the next step was, I was told it had already been explained, and the clearly annoyed tech said they were a temp. I asked to end the appointment, and the tech followed me to the front, saying the next visit would be better. I will be finding a new provider who communicates better and prioritizes patient care.
