Dr. Jin Sup is all that you want in an orthodontist. She and her team is extremely thorough and professional. On top of that, a friendly person and not the taboo “scary” ortho. I started my Invisalign journey with her and she has done multiple refinements to make sure it is perfect (any other place would just give up). Highly recommend for anybody who wants a beautiful smile.

Dr. Shin was incredible — warm, communicative, and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. On top of that, she’s clearly very knowledgeable and professional. She walked me through each step of the treatment plan and answered all of my questions with patience and clarity, which made me feel completely confident in her care.
The rest of the team was just as friendly and professional, and I really appreciated how smoothly everything ran — there was no wait time, and the whole visit was super efficient. If you're looking for expert orthodontic care with outstanding service and clear communication, I highly recommend this office!

This is my new orthodontist AND dentist. I originally went for an orthodontist appointment and found out that it is a brother (dentist) and sister(orthodontist) office. I had a bad experience with Diamond Braces and they immediately helped me with kindness.
The office even went the extra mile to squeeze me in to treat me after my original appointment.

Visiting Dr. Jin Sup Shin is one of the best health care experiences I’ve had. She is so warm and everyone at the office is very friendly. I am able to get in and out quickly and always very satisfied with the progress I’m making under her care using Invisalign.

This is by far the best dentist/orthodontist I’ve ever seen. I’m totally scared of the dentist but Dr. Jin and her staff (Joanne at the front desk) makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable! It’s a bit of a travel for me but it’s worth it! I have some work to do and I will update the process.

I have been to several orthodontists over the years managing palette expander, braces, and follow-up care, but my first appointment with Dr. Shin was the best I've ever had – immaculate quiet office, kind staff, and altogether quite pleasant experience. Dr. Shin was efficient, skilled, caring, and interested in my needs and priorities. Everyone was kind enough to put on a mask and open a window when I asked!
The intake procedure, operation to replace my broken upper built-in wire retainer, and payment process took all of 40 minutes. I wish SmileWorks was operating when I had my braces a decade ago. Though all I need now is occasional retainer maintenance, I'll never go to another provider as long as Dr. Shin is practicing in NYC. Thank you again!

I never leave these reviews but Dr. Shin's office was worth it! I've seen many specialist around the city and did full research, but never had the confidence to pursue Invisalign with any of them. Dr. Shin gave the most thorough review, options, and recommendation for a treatment plan and she gave me full confidence in her ability to fix beyond what I was even aware of!! She is very friendly, treats you with genuine care and confident ( and impressive)expertise. Her family practice has care embedded; would recommend her 100%.

Dr. Shin and her team were amazing. I went to three different orthodontists last year for braces consultation, but Dr. Shin was the most patient and knowledgeable one. I had two major concerns about possible treatment options, and Dr. Shin explained to me clearly the risks and process of both. I never felt rushed or bad about asking questions. Dr. Shin and her team (Veronica, Di Di, Jocelyn, and Dr. Peter) was very welcoming and friendly. Her brother (also Dr. Shin but goes by Dr. Peter) was the dentist there and I was able to do my dental cleaning/checkup there as well. Both Dr. Shin and Dr. Peter have the best bedside manner of any doctor I've been to. If I proceed with treatment with them, I have no doubt that Dr. Shin would give me the best smile. Thank you Dr. Shin and team for a pleasant and relaxing appointment!
