From the beginning of my appointment, including my EC access to getting a quick time, I can’t thank the doctor in the office staff enough. My ingrown toenail was giving me great pain and the doctor was so accommodating. The highest rating I would be glad to give 10 above

Dr Kreps is definitely the doctor to go to if you have any foot issues. He listens and comes up with a few choices, so no pressure. I feel like I’m in good hands with him.

My experience with Dr. Fawzy Ibrahim at SoCal Foot Care was very concerning. I was asked to sign paperwork before being seen without any explanation of what procedures or equipment would cost. There was no transparency about pricing. After the visit, I was told the bill, which ended up being shockingly expensive. At one point I was told I couldn’t leave without a medical boot because “if you have a fracture I can’t let you leave without a boot,” which felt very coercive and uncomfortable. The entire experience felt more focused on billing and equipment than patient care. Healthcare should involve clear communication and informed consent before patients sign or agree to anything. Because of how unethical this felt, I will be reporting the experience to the medical board and encourage others to do the same if they encounter similar practices. Patients deserve transparency and the ability to understand what they are agreeing to before being asked to sign paperwork.

The doctor herself was fine and didn't really have any issues with, but the office and administrative support is by far the worst I've ever experienced. Over 6 weeks of calling 2 to 3 times a week following up with the office and they still have not provided insurance with authorization paperwork, each time saying they're going to do it urgently and then not being able to provide any case number or follow up with the insurance provider. I went in person to follow up one last time before I switch providers and asked to get a case number so I could submit the order to Insurance myself, but they were unable to provide any documentation saying they're not sure or any phone contact to talk with their internal pre-authorization department so there's literally nothing I can do except go to a different provider and restart the whole process. Classic case of actions speaking louder than words and neither being up to the standard a medical professional should have.
