I scheduled through his portal, signed on before the appointed time, never heard him or saw him. He claimed that he does hold appointments on his day of the week, but HIS portal suggested he was available at that time and date, He claims that he signed on and never saw me. His portal service apparently has major tech problems. I desperately wanted to talk to a psychiatrist before I went inpatient, getting perhaps recommendations on a facility. Oh well...

I’ve been looking for a virtual psych provider for weeks. I did a lot of research and read SO MANY horrific reviews. Zocdoc was recommended by another provider. I checked out Zocdoc’s website and was pleasantly surprised. I read a lot of positive reviews from most of their providers. That’s when I came across Corey McCormick, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. He had great reviews and his cash pay price was very reasonable for the initial appointment as well as follow up visits. The greatest part is he was actually available the same evening which was perfect for me so I didn’t have time to overthink and cancel my appointment. Our appointment was for a hour. He was a great listener and really understood what I’ve been struggling with recently. I could tell he genuinely cares about his patients and was very thorough. He was also easy to understand. I couldn’t have found a better provider for my mental health. My only regret is that I didn’t make an appointment sooner.
