I made an appointment with the Dr. Instead of seeing her, I saw a student in training. I was not told that it would not be the doctor and it was a man, which I clearly made known on my in take paperwork. I find this to be a waste of my time, with all of the intake forms. I find it to be disrespectful with the lack of notice that it was a student, and irresponsible to not pay attention to my clear needs. Very disappointing.

My first visit was great. I was asked inquisitive questions that helped get to important points for me to focus on. I am excited to continue therapy.

Dr. Laura was incredibly welcoming, and extremely easy to talk to. She is very attentive and has helped me to look at things in different ways in order to gain understanding. She has also been extremely accommodating to my sometimes hectic work schedule. I would highly recommend Dr. Laura to anyone looking for counseling, especially if this is your first experience like it was for me.
