Somatma (Jean-Marie Schweizer)

Our work together is client-centered, meaning you will guide the counseling process and lead the way. My role is to be a companion, joining you on your journey, directed by you, for you. My counseling modalities include internal family systems (IFS) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and I use existential, humanistic, feminist, and narrative approaches, among others. I also subscribe to strength-based, positive psychology and embrace a solution-focused philosophy whenever appropriate.
