I had some hesitancy at first as I had never been seen by a male doctor but Dr. Lefkowitz and his staff were absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. He was very empathetic to my prior experiences and extremely thorough in answering my questions. They also offer nitrous oxide as a pain management option which I very much appreciated and took as a sign that this practice really cares about the health AND comfort of their patients. Highly recommend!

Somerset Gynecology is THE place for women's health, and Dr. Lefkowitz is THE doctor to see. He is professional but friendly, and he remembers his patients' lives and their personal details. He takes his time, welcomes AND answers questions, and he explains things kindly and thoroughly. I have been to this practice multiple times, and I've had a great experience during each one. Dr. Lefkowitz performed my hysterectomy, three years ago as well, and I felt so informed and cared for before and after. I healed perfectly, and I now live free from pain and the monthly misery that plagued me until I found Somerset. Read the reviews and decide for yourself. This place and Dr. Lefkowitz are THE BEST!

I have been with this practice for 13 years, and they delivered both of my babies, so I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. But, wait times my last two visits were very long, and it kind of knocks off a few stars. The docs are all personable, knowledgeable, and have great bedside manner. Dr. Lefkowitz was very supportive while I shared my concerns, and he came up with an action plan that I was comfortable with. You can’t go wrong with any provider at the Somerset OB/GYN office.

I went to another OB-GYN, and the experience was great. He was very personable, a good listener, and seemed genuinely concerned about my health and well-being. He took the time to answer all of my questions, explained things clearly, and made me feel comfortable and heard. He also offered referrals and discussed options for other routine care, which I really appreciated. Overall, I felt respected, cared for, and confident in the care he provided.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ohm. He is everything you would want in a doctor—kind, patient, and a truly attentive listener. From the very first appointment, 19 years ago, I felt completely at ease and respected. He takes the time to explain things clearly, answers every question without rushing, and genuinely cares about his patients' comfort and well-being. It’s rare to find a doctor who combines such professionalism with compassion and warmth. I was a little hesitant booking through zocdoc to find a new obgyn, but Dr. Weiermiller was fantastic all around. She made me so comfortable, I was seen right away, she was knowledgeable in the questions I had concerns with in regards to some body things going on, and never made me feel insecure for asking anything. She was SO kind and it was one of the best experiences I've had with a doctor. Happy to have found her and will recommend her to everyone.

Considering that all women go through menopause, it's shocking that more gynecologists don't know more about how to deal with its complications.
I appreciate that Dr. Paladino is specifically trained in menopausal hormone management. She listened to me without judgment and offered real solutions. I would 10/10 recommend her.

Dr. Paladino is the best! As a young person, it can be so difficult to get certain types of care without getting pushback, but she didn't try to talk me out of anything, and was more than willing to go ahead and schedule me for surgery.

It was a very smooth process from scheduling to Pre- registering and checking in for appointment. Within a few minutes of checking in, I was called back to go into my exam room by the assistant, and within a few minutes, the doctor came in to see me! She was very personable, Relatable.

As a trans woman who was fortunate enough to get bottom surgery a year ago, I need a gynecologist just like anybody else with a vagina. However, my experience at a different practice left me feeling othered with a doctor that, while having the expertise to treat me, nonetheless felt out of her league and made me feel like I was a special case just because I was trans. Despite my issue being commonplace and unrelated to surgical complications, I was nearly referred out to a specialist.
Dr. Paladino was prompt, professional, and above all else, she treated me like she would any other patient. This was the first gynecologist appointment I've had where I wasn't made to feel different or like I was a special case that needed to be handled more delicately. She has enough experience treating trans patients to know what's different, while still understanding that my vagina has the same needs as anybody else's. I'm looking forward to seeing her again next year for my next check-up.

Dr. Smet was super nice and clearly goal oriented aligned with the patient. She is quick though and I felt rushed at points. I would have liked more time to ask questions. Hopefully at the next appointment she’ll have more time for questions. I have a lot of medical anxiety and I’m not sure if she will have the patience to deal with me since I tend to have a lot of questions. Time will tell. She seems determined to get to the bottom of my issue and that I appreciate.

Dr. Smet and her team were amazing!! Highly highly recommend. They seemed like they were so happy I was there. She was funny, and clearly cared about my opinion. We talked about birth control options and she answered my questions thoroughly. She supported whatever decision I made. She made me feel very comfortable, and was able to get the iud in right away!

I can’t speak highly enough of Dr Smet! I have a tremendous amount of medical trauma after surviving advance stage breast cancer in my 20s and she is the first provider I’ve seen in years that I haven’t left the office in tears afterwards. Her bedside manner is top tier and she was so funny and truly listened to my concerns. I’m beyond thankful!
