I saw Kait for a postpartum appointment and it was so helpful. I had some back pain and wanted to get some help with my diastasis recti/scar following my second c-section—since it was my second, I knew that wanted to be more proactive about my recovery. The appointment was amazing, she listened to my concerns and explained things that my doctor didn’t (for example, my doctor said that he thought my scar felt “thick,” but didn’t explain what that meant or how I could help it other than silicone strips). In addition to the work she did during the appointment itself, she gave me some scar massage techniques and exercises to do at home to help bring my muscles back together. If you’re looking for a good place to start for postpartum support, I can recommend South Bay Movement & Wellness enough!

I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the office. I was the last appointment of the day and it looked like they had just opened. The staff was friendly and efficient in processing paperwork and my insurance information. Dr. Clarke was amazing. I have several autoimmune conditions and had recently just recovered from a surgery and an accident. She made me feel heard and she understood the many layers of issues I was experiencing. She communicated all of her actions before performing them which really helped me feel at ease. My initial consult was very thorough. I left the appointment feeling better and also grateful that I may have found a doctor that will actual help me heal.

I've been to other chiropractors but my treatment with Dr. Kait can't be matched! She truly cares about getting me better and each treatment is so much more than just an adjustment. She works on my muscles with ART, cupping and scraping, and gives me new exercises/stretches and recommendations each visit. It is an integrative practice where different disciplines may be used to help you. Under one roof, there are Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Nutritional Counseling, Acupuncture and Medical Massage. Dr Clarke is attentive and caring. That is evident from the start. She is certified in several different methods and uses all of her knowledge and experience to help you. Kristen and her staff were outstanding! I was upset when I entered because I was in so much pain. I have severe peripheral nueropothy in both my feet due to diabetes II which I've had for 25+ years.My diabetes is under control but I was left with increasing nueropothy. It started in my toes and as of now it is encrouching toward my calves. Kristen was very empathetic and gentle with her acupuncture proceedure. She made me relaxed and calmed my pain. She explained how it may take some time before I notice a big change, but today I feel confident that soon I will find total relief. Let's say I left in a better state than I arrived. Thank you Kristen.
