Splendidly Made LLC
My mission as an advanced practice registered nurse is to provide competent and compassionate care to every patient. I continue to seek education, be honest, and professional for the duration of my career. I will be kind, compassionate, and considerate to people of all backgrounds and ethnicity.
My goal is to educate my patients so they can make educated decisions and choices. I will offer time to my patients and have follow-up sessions with them to ensure their physical and mental well-being. Every time I meet with a patient, I hope they will not be hesitant to stop me during a conversation to ask for clarification. I will also tell my patients to feel free to email me with questions.
I have experience as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioner in women's health care for over 10 years. I have treated Weight Loss, Mental Health, and many conditions that effect women of all ages. I have taught nursing in state colleges and universities. I precepted many Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and medical residents. I have experience as a Senior Nursing Supervisor in the State Prison System and a nursing background in cardiac, home health, ER, progressive care and telemetry.
I graduated from Lake-Sumter State College with an Associate of Science in nursing and an Associate of Arts degree. Later on, I went on to the University of Central Florida for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
My first master’s degree in nursing specializing in nursing/healthcare education was from the University of Phoenix. I earned my second master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from the University of Cincinnati.
I completed a certificate program in psychiatric mental health from Wilmington University. I am certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners for family practice and psychiatric mental health practice.
I completed training for the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.

Nurse Practitioner Denise was excellent! A great listener, practical, insightful and what you want from a medical provider, kind and patient. I was so used to having to rush through an appointment without getting all my concerns covered that I was the one who was rushing.
