Stroma Physical Therapy
We believe that an understanding of the human body and movement provides the basis in assessing and treating our patients. While Evidence Based Medicine guides us in a general direction, it is important to assess the person walking through our door since not everyone is reflective of the statistical "mean". With our strong background in anatomy and biomechanics, we analyze each patient and their injury to derive a sound treatment equation. We apply this equation using our ability to palpate tissues effectively and exercise appropriate muscle groups. Through our complete clinical analysis we create the right equation for success, and our hands and unique exercise approach produce the results. Please note, we are an out-of-network provider.

Vinita listened to me and asked detailed questions. She also made me feel comfortable during pelvic floor examination, showed a technique how to help me and worked with me around limitations I had for the visit!! She also repeated directions multiple time until I understood. I felt I was well taken care for and so grateful after the visit!!

Vinita made me feel comfortable. Not only was she knowledgeable and good-humored, but she was obviously empathetic to me and my healing. I came in for treatment for a leg injury and Vinita explained every exercise to me and it’s potential pain level before performing it on me. She checked in with me frequently to assess my comfort. I wish that all healthcare providers were like Vinita. I feel so much better after just one visit. Please visit Vinita if you have a leg injury.

I must say thank God for telemedicine. I injured myself during an intense workout weeks ago and the pain never subsided - little did I know it was a Grade 2 Calf Strain.
Vinita was great reassuring the diagnosis and even going as far to doing a virtual physical therapy appointment with me to relieve my pain and show me techniques to use at home. She’s amazing!

Vinita is a magical, intelligent, caring, and compassionate practitioner. Over the years I have known her she has treated me and relieved immense pain, educated me about physiology and being sensitive to my body, and given me strength and confidence in times of need. Not only is she a master therapist, she is dutifully educating therapists under her wing. One thing I absolutely love about her and her staff is that treatment is always dynamic, never static. Absolutely love Vinita. I've had back problems for 15 years - resulting from a slipped disc and surgery. Nobody has treated it was completely or holistically as Vinita. Her goal is to make sure you're healed enough to never have to come in again. Couldn't recommend her more highly.

Vinita and her fellow PTs do amazing work and are so so nice! Highly recommended for anyone looking to cure themselves of sports injuries, desk job ailments, and anything else physical.

Vinita stands out as a practitioner because she treats the whole body, not just the presenting problem. She's the only person who's been able to provide significant and sustained improvement for my SI joint (in my back). And when I mentioned I'd fractured my wrist and had completed a round of PT elsewhere, she did her magic to get the injured wrist to the same range of motion as the other one. Her work is like the icing on the cake--with a cherry on top.

I can't recommend Vinita highly enough. She's one of the rare medical professionals that isn't satisfied until you leave her office feeling 100% better. And if it takes more than one visit, then she'll think about you and your issues even when you're not around and recommend numerous solutions on your next visit. Vinita is a breath of fresh air in today's medical world. She's a mix of modern anatomical science and magic. After assessing NY condition, she made time in her schedule to see me for intensive sessions to help me avoid surgery.
