I've been shopping around to find the best bunion surgeon in NYC. From consult (seriously most high tech and beautiful office I have been to in Manhattan) to free appointment, to staff (assists in finding out insurance benefits), to pricing and establishing confidence (he has tons of before and after pictures). I selected Dr. Stuart Mogul as my foot surgeon. I'll give another update post surgery!

Dr. Mogul was very attentive and extremely knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and even showed me imaging that was very helpful.
While I elected not to proceed with any procedures or treatments, were I to change my mind, I would absolutely go with Dr. Mogul.

Dr. Mogul listened very attentively, demonstrated a thorough understanding of my surgical needs, answered all my questions, provided insights based on his expertise and was considerably personable during my initial consultation with him. His staff is warm, and most importantly, they are efficient. I was seen immediately upon arrival at my appointment time. I was not rushed, and made comfortable. Looking forward to having him perform my upcoming procedures.

I learned of Dr Mogul after doing extensive research to find a foot surgeon to take care of my bunions 6 years ago. If you are worried or nervous about having surgery Dr Mogul has almost 3 decades worth of experience to lay your head on. If you're looking for a good doctor he's your guy. He cares about his patients and follows up after surgery to ensure that they are recovering well. I was very surprised when he called the following day to see how I was doing. I had little to no pain during my recovery and he did an amazing job hiding my incisions and closing them so that the scarring is minimal. To date people do not notice my scar unless I show them. Best of all, I no longer have pain or a bulge in my shoe from bunions and I have him to thank for that. I decided recently that I need to address my hammertoe problem and it was never a thought to go with anyone else besides Doctor Mogul.
