Joe Graham, FNP-ENP, is a double board-certified Family and Emergency Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, and intensive care. As the founder of Summit Health Family and Urgent Care in Haltom City, Texas, Joe is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families throughout Tarrant County.
A native of Fort Worth, Joe’s path in medicine began through the MedStar EMS Explorer Program while he was still in high school. That early hands-on exposure inspired him to pursue nursing, eventually earning his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. Today, he combines deep clinical experience with a personal approach to healthcare, focused on prevention, access, and long-term wellness.
At Summit Health, patients receive compassionate, convenient care across a broad range of services—including primary and urgent care, chronic disease management, DOT physicals, weight loss programs, hormone therapy, geriatric care, and virtual visits. Joe believes in empowering patients with knowledge and support, whether they’re managing a chronic condition or recovering from illness.

I scheduled an appointment for a UTI the evening before at 6:30 p.m.. The appointment was for 10:00 a.m. The following morning. I filled out all of the information requested of me and the doctor's office called me about an hour before the appointment to tell me that the doctor was not available until 2:00 p.m.. they did not offer me another doctor for the location at the same time, and only offered the 2:00 p.m. appointment. When I expressed my frustration at the situation, the person I was speaking with blamed it on me because I chose to create my appointment after hours.

The experience with the provider was great, but the due diligence of the staff wasn’t very good. I called my insurance to verify I had no out of pocket expenses and they confirmed, but the staff here still forced a co-pay payment. Now I have to go through the motions of getting that reimbursed which can take up to 90 days. I did feel as though they took advantage of my in a weakened state saying they couldn’t see me if I didn’t pay the copay, but regardless, the provider was great.
