I was a board certified acupuncturist who has been seeking this type of high quality treatment for a long time. I have gone to various acupuncturist over the years and I was never as impressed as I am with Yu Xu!
I have struggled with back pain for as long as I can remember and now sciatica. He started with a medical massage before acupuncture. Brilliant.
His comprehensive approach is just everything I have been looking for.

Dr. Alex Xu was patient, thorough and willing to answer any follow-up questions I had during the consult. From my perspective, Dr. Xu was passionate and knowledgeable about the science of medicine and happily shared the information I asked for.
The experience was also enlightening and reminded me how blind we are to the efficacy of ancient medicine due to the propaganda from the western european medicine, and stereotyping/rejection of eastern medicine.
I look forward to learning more from Dr. Xu and incorporating eastern science more into my daily life.
Highly recommend this practice to all, especially if you are dealing with physical representation of your emotional distress!

For about 30 years, I've only been averaging about 4 hours of sleep per night. My wife insisted that I try Dr. Yu Xu. I was skeptical but willing to give it a shot. After the first session my 4 hours of sleep turned into 5 to 6 hours of sleep. As treatment sessions continued, the quality and duration of my sleep improved. Today I am getting 7 hours of restful sleep nightly. I no longer have bags or dark circles under my eyes and feel energetic. I highly recommend Dr. Xu for those who just can't get a good night's sleep.

I've never had so much time taken to massage muscle tension that has been plaguing me for years. Even before any needles were introduced, my body was thoroughly prepared. I walked away feeling a little heady, but within a couple of hours felt much better and my pain was gone. Looking forward to my next visit.

He was able to discover the source of my complaints quickly although the process never felt rushed. I really, really enjoyed my visit. This was my first time seeing an acupuncturist and having this treatment done, and the Doctor went in with a great explanation of how the process would work. We did an initial examination, and again, he explained everything as he went - super helpful. We then started the procedure with a deep muscle loosening and it was amazing - even now typing this, I feel my body responding positively to today’s appointment. We ended with the acupuncture, and I don’t know why I was so worried! This was amazing, and I’ve already booked again for next weekend.

Had my first consult/session with Dr. Alex Xu in October of this year and it was great. He has perfect bedside manner, very professional and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I felt like I was heard and my needs were understood. He checked in to make sure the pressure was ok several times. It was my first time visiting an acupuncturist in general and it was such a pleasant experience. Communicated lots of things he noticed and how we can address those areas. Then the therapeutic massage and acupuncture helped immensely!
