I've been going here for a few years now. The staff is so nice and helpful, especially with things like insurance, rebates, and choosing glasses. The doctor is kind, listens, does a thorough exam, and explains any issues and answers questions in a way that is easy to understand.

I really like Dr. Ramirez; she showed me the actual scans of my retina (I don't know that the tech existed the last time I went to the doctor), but she did it without my asking, and was clear about explaining some basic eye health. She was super honest about my existing prescription, and very friendly. Will def go back!

The doctor was awesome. She explained me everything very very well and she was very detailed. Take time to do the eye exam. Office is clean. Not very long wait time. I recommend the doctor to everyone. I glad that i pick her as my eye specialist.

Unfortunately I was not able to see this doctor while having a medical emergency. After confirming with the office that my insurance was accepted, they would only move forward with my appointment if I allowed for them to store and pre-authorize a credit card on file for an indefinite amount of time so that if they came across any billing issues, it would be my responsibility. This is usually an option and not required-if this is their policy, it should be clearly stated before making an appointment and wasting peoples time. It felt as if the office didn’t feel like dealing with insurance that they accept and would rather push the responsibility on the patient which I did not appreciate. Due to issues in the past, I wouldn’t agree to store my credit card so they refused to see me. Fine- except when I told them to cancel I was met with hostility and told that “since I’m cancelling same day, there’s a cancellation fee.” Which I also won’t be paying. Patients should be aware of policy.

Amazing experience from start to finish! Dr. Ramirez-Mcteir was very knowledgeable, warm and friendly. She answered all my questions and provided clear explanations and recommendations. Her bedside manner is impeccable! I was anxious going into this appointment as it had been a while since I last had my eyes checked, but Dr. Ramirez-Mcteir helped me feel at ease. Everyone from the front desk was also really helpful and kind!
