Susan Clarke, LMFT
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist of 28 years and feel honored to be able to be a part of someone's transformational journey. My focus is helping people heal emotional pain they may have and to teach them how to rebuild and/or repair their relationships with others and most importantly with themselves.
"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate."
-C.G. JUNG
The process of therapy as I see it is doing exactly that becoming aware of the adaptive survival skills we learned that have become maladaptive in our lives. When our patterns clash or we begin to struggle with how we feel about ourselves, it creates a certain degree of pain and being willing to ask for help is a sign of great courage. Counseling deals with the struggles, triggers and feeling associated with emotional pain.
My counseling approach includes supportive therapy, Object relations therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy and I offer Sand tray therapy.
I work with Individuals and couples.
