Do you want to improve your relationships? Do you feel overly anxious at times or "blue" and don't understand where such feelings are coming from? Perhaps I can help you. Over the last twenty-five years I have worked with many individuals with stressful marital and interpersonal issues. Getting a better grasp of the conflicts and feelings you are experiencing can help you create better coping skills and feel more in control of your life. With a Ph.D. in art history, I have a special interest in working with artists, writers, entrepreneurs and other creative individuals. Using a broad array of integrative psychodynamically-informed clinical techniques, I work in an active but gentle way, tailored to each individual's needs. With sensitivity, care, and commitment, I will work with you to develop a greater sense of self-confidence, spontaneity and freedom toward a more fulfilling life. I met with Dr. Susan Gill for three years for therapy and I could not recommend her more. Though I’ve worked in the mental health field for years, I had my own difficulty with opening up, being vulnerable, and talking about my feelings. Dr. Gill made it very easy for me to become comfortable pretty quickly, and we were able to address and process family problems, relationship challenges, career ups and downs, and other insecurities. She offers a balance of calm, comforting support while also appropriately challenging you when needed. I’m a little over a year out from my last therapy session and am still thankful for our time spent together!
