Susan McConnaughy, PhD, LCSW

In my practice, I help individuals work through feelings of anxiety and depression, painful relationship dynamics, or experiences of early trauma. We explore and support new development in their identities and new chapters of their lives. I value building strong relationships with people of all backgrounds and perspectives. I believe that working across our differences can be a great strength and a benefit to all of us. When we meet you will find someone who listens wholeheartedly with mind, body and spirit. Together we will listen for both your past injuries (resolved and partially resolved) AND for the ways you want to grow but find daunting or hard to even imagine. I am trained in relational psychoanalysis and mind/body approaches to trauma: sensorimotor processing, mindfulness-based stress reduction and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. I look forward to meeting you for a consultation to see if we might work well together. Welcome!
