My child is navigating through a psychological mine field right now and it has been very tiring trying to schedule appointments, call doctors, verify insurance, redo school schedules to accommodate psychological appointments/ needs, meet with school counselors and update teachers, try out therapists, locate medication management, maintain treatment plans and implement any new suggested adjustments... Nothing is too much for my child, but this has not been an easy time. So, when Dr. Davidson told my child he was going to help, and that they would not be alone, and he would be meeting with us again in 2 weeks... something about the way he said it, and sounded, was reassuring. It was the feeling of sincerity. I don't like to tell people they "should" do something, but if you, or your child needs someone who is direct, yet kind; clinical, but warm; reassuring, and not unrealistic– then I would suggest giving him a try.

Dr. Davidson was great. He helped me put things into perspective and gave me good advice to handle my ongoing issue. He also gave me a couple ways to manage my symptoms without immediately resorting to the most extreme solution. However, he was open to helping me manage the more extreme medication if I felt like I really needed it. We have a follow up appointment already scheduled.
I really appreciated his approach and the way I was treated during the visit.
