Our past traumatic experiences can have a huge impact on how we cope with stress, as well as our self-worth and our ability to feel safe connecting with others. You deserve to live your life feeling healthy, grounded, and with compassion for yourself, and therapy can be a great resource. It's a place to get perspective and support, and find coping skills that actually work for you. If you struggle with depression or anxiety, boundaries in relationships, trouble with self-esteem, or you've survived a traumatic childhood or young adulthood, please reach out. My goal is to help you know, understand, and take good care of yourself.
My style is encouraging, direct, and compassion-focused. I specialize in working with people who have had trauma in their lives, whether in childhood, within a relationship, or due to prolonged stress or an isolated experience. I also love working with young adults, the stress of life transitions, new parenting, anxiety, and those impacted by family/partner's addictions.
I can confidently say I've seen this process work for a lot of people! By building a safe and supportive relationship in therapy, you can become grounded, more mindful and aware, and able to feel more connected to others. I’m committed to helping you heal and start being present in your life. Please feel free to reach out to discuss options and make a plan.
