As a Board-Certified Music Therapist and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, I have 24 years experience helping people find their “voice”. Evidenced-based interventions can help clients with anxiety disorders, depression, or chronic illnesses safely express and identify complex emotions, and increase self awareness to make decisions for their own well-being. In addition, I treat individuals with dementia to stimulate language, positive emotional expression and memory. I approach therapy from a humanistic/existential perspective, use the biomedical model of music therapy and trauma-informed principles.
