Since its founding in 2001, Bowden Eye & Associates has been dedicated to the protection and preservation of the treasured gift of sight. We pursue that mission by providing every patient in our care with the latest, most proven treatments and technologies. Our founder, renowned cornea specialist and surgeon, Dr. Frank W. Bowden III. Dr. Bowden, was the ‘Official Eye Care Provider for the Jacksonville Jaguars from 1995 to 2017,’ has been recognized by Jacksonville Magazine as one of the community’s Top Doctors on numerous occasions and was named Jacksonville’s Best Doctor of 2006.

Dr. Bowden was wonderful he answered all my questions and told me about other options besides contacts. I am going to tell all my friends and family how wonderful the visit was!

Visit was great however they did not have my paperwork which was already completed online because the website did not make it clear that it had to be printed out by the patient and brought in or the patient would be filling out the same info.

The doctor was friendly and thorough but you have to see 3 other people first even if you don’t want glasses from them. It was too long for a routine eye exam, almost 2 hours!

Very efficient front end service. Marian, the Optometrist Assistant, was very thorough. Dr. Robben was also very willing to answer questions and his explanations were easy to understand. I was not pushed to buy anything I didn't need and was charged a fair price for my glasses.

My first time with this doctor and location, but I liked it. Everyone was super nice and professionally. I didn't wait too long, but they did seem to have a bit of a back up. Everything was very nice and clean and explained well - maybe even a little repetitive, but I understand why they may want to emphasize certain things.

Most of my interaction was with the technicians, and they were all friendly and courteous, and knowledgeable in their duties. Dr. Robben was friendly and professional, and answered my questions. I enjoyed my visit to Dr. Robben's office. BTW, I don't use Facebook because of their failures with information security.

Everyone was really helpful after I had a reaction to the dilation drops in my eyes. Dr. Robben was a complete professional and recommended a slew of items for my dry eyes and suggested testing for some autoimmune diseases. Overall, a beautiful, comfortable office with a great staff

I would NOT recommend making an appointment through ZocDoc for this office! I made myself and my daughter an appointment 10 days in advance AND filled out the new patient paperwork online. I even called the day before to confirm our appointments, the receptionist confirmed them. Then when we showed up for our appointment, they knew NOTHING about our appointments!!! We had to wait 30 minutes for them to scramble to work us in and put us on the schedule they had. But after the chaos, everything else went smooth and the staff and physician were very nice and professional.
