The Greater Washington Orthopaedic Group offers a complete range of diagnostic and therapeutic services related to orthopaedic surgery. We evaluate and treat injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system.
Most conditions treated by an orthopaedic surgeon, however, never require surgical intervention. The majority of conditions seen in an orthopaedic practice involve either injuries or degenerative wear and tear diagnoses. An orthopaedic surgeon has received five years of post-doctorate training to become eligible to practice his specialty and become board certified.
Injuries are classified by the activity responsible. Trauma such as slip and falls, motor vehicle accidents, and work related injuries account for a significant number of serious injuries. Recreation is also responsible for increasing numbers of injuries and has brought sports medicine to the forefront.

I made my original appointment on zoc doc. I was then called THREE times by the office staff to reschedule each subsequent appointment that they made due to them
Not knowing the schedule of the providers that THEY work for. Once I arrived at my 3rd corrected appointment by the providers office, I was not greeted by reception staff. They proceeded to have a conversation about Oreos and snacks, while I was standing there and still didn’t acknowledge me. I was rudely told that If I had an appointment I needed to sign in. Then I proceeded to get into a back and forth whether I had my appointment or not. The proceeded to ask me if I wanted to see the back specialist, when my appointment was for a wrist consultation. I was very displeased and will not be returning.
