He actually spent an hour with me and asked questions.....this is a bit unusual these days with a psychiatrist in NYC
He was very thorough in his questioning and hopefully pinpointed the problem instead of just treating the symptoms.

I made an appointment with Dr. Galal to get a second opinion on a treatment recommended to me by another psychiatrist. When I made this appointment through ZocDoc, it was cancelled by his office and rescheduled with a nurse practitioner. The NP wrote me a prescription for Adderall and sent me on my way without scheduling follow up.
Dr. Galal was great. After one session he was incredibly insightful and listened and I felt in great hands. I highly recommend him!
