I am always skeptical about telehealth because of how distant it can feel. I was reluctant but pleasantly surprised. Practitioner Sherrille was really nice. She welcomed me to the practice, asked how I was feeling, asked about my work life balance, and then wanted to know about my health goals and concerns. This was even before getting to the root of the problem. She wanted to understand me holistically, which I appreciated. When I got to the actual reason for my virtual visit, she listened attentively, and we came up with a plan together. Where I had questions or concerns, she backed it up with science, evidence, and experience. She was super personable, which I didn’t expect. Some doctors hop on virtual visits, and you feel like you are on a patient assembly line (just in and out). Plus, you NEVER know how much the visit will cost. Her pricing was fair, and the follow-up wasn’t much more than my copay. She is giving my own PCP a run for her money.
