This is the first review I have ever written - but this was hands down the best dental experience I’ve had in my life. Everyone in the staff from the front desk to the doctor was incredibly friendly and welcoming and super nice. The place itself was also very clean and modern and felt brand new, and they even had a TV on the ceiling to watch shows during your procedure, and a built in massage chair inside the dental chair you lay on?? The doctor was also incredibly clear and communicative, and it was obvious she valued my understanding of the situation highly. We went back and forth and she answered questions until I had a full grasp of what was going on. Overall a 10/10 experience, I was blown away by the entire thing from start to finish.

The best dental experience I’ve ever had. Naturally most of us are anxious to be at the dentist but it was so relaxing and comfortable. I was able to voice any concerns and be honest without judgment. I felt they genuinely cared to explain what they were looking at and how to understand problem areas in my X-rays.

Five stars do not do Dr. Salehezadeh justice. She completely turned my dental hygiene around. Before coming in, I had not brushed my teeth for over ten years (age 14 to 26). Dr. Salehezadeh was shocked, but cleaned my teeth and gave me a stern, but professional, talking to. When I returned several months later with filthy teeth, she said that she would have to excuse me from her practice if I continued to ignore her advice. She understandably explained that her goal is to help people that she can make an impact on, and if I'm not going to hold up my end of the bargain, another patient could take my place. This was a wake-up call for me. I appreciated how she gave me a fair but firm ultimatum, and I wanted to stay. I was sure that I wouldn't be coming back if I returned with anything less than clean teeth. Now I'm proud to say that Dr. Salehezadeh sees me as one of her favorite "rags to dental riches" stories. She was always friendly, approachable, and happy to answer my questions, even when I was a difficult case. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Salehezadeh to anyone, at any point in their dental hygiene journey!

She was extremely patient and thorough with my cleaning and exam.
I have always been filled with anxiety about my dental visits but Dr. S put me at ease. Dr S. Explained each step throughout the process. Her assistant is also kind and knowledgeable.
I am getting the Invisilign with Dr. S and after only a few trays I am noticing a dramatic difference. Dr S was able to clean stains that other dentists were not. On my last visit, I had been experiencing sensitivity and she was quick to offer a solution that didn't involve drilling or anything unnecessary.
I can't believe I am saying this but I am looking forward to my next visit!
Her office is clean, comfortable and has some very cool art on the walls.

Dr. Salehezadeh was a great dentist and I would recommend anyone looking for a new dentist in the area to give her a try! I was seated right away and she came back to introduce herself. I had new x-rays taken which was a quick and easy process and then was seated to have my teeth cleaned. I had a cavity filled right after the teeth cleaning ad the whole thing took about 1.5 hrs! Very efficient and good work done here.

Dr. Salehezadeh was great! Some small talk in the beginning, then x-rays, and then my cleaninng. She also explained me everything that was going in my mouth and made sure I understood. She kinldy referred me to another Dr. for extractions and explained me how my insurance works, which she doesn't do but did for me as I'm a newbie in this system.
Super gentle with my mouth, didn't hurt at all and even had someone to give me a foot massage during my cleaning :)

The staff was very friendly and the office environment was very positive. Dr. Salehezadeh was extremely kind and caring and I felt very comfortable (which is rare for me because I've always been nervous at the dentist.) I highly recommend her!!!

Dr. Salehezadeh was great! She was very friendly and knowledgeable, and performed a great cleaning. I hadn't been to a dentist since I moved to the city (partially afraid of finding a dentist), and she couldn't have been nicer. Also showed me the before and after of what she cleaned and she really made a difference!
Only thing that was a little disappointing was that I had a 10:00 AM appointment, and wasn't called in until 10:15. Once I was seen, everything went quickly, but I was hoping to be in and out within a half-hour and was not. Not a big deal, as the office was busy and I wouldn't let that deter you from visiting her.

I had a fantastic appointment with Dr. Salehezadeh! She's warm, funny, and made me feel immediately at ease. She did a great job of explaining in an understandable way what was going on in my mouth and what she needed to do to fix the aches I was experiencing. The free 15 minute foot massage for all new patients didn't hurt either! I've had bad experiences with dentists before and can be a bit phobic of these appointments, but I was laughing the whole time I was in Dr. Salehezadeh's office... as least as much as one can when someone has their fingers in your mouth. Could not recommend more highly!

After living in NYC for 2 years without a dentist I finally decided to pluck up the courage and get a check-up, and am lucky to have found Dr Shawn Salehezadeh. My first appointment she saw me right away and made my teeth squeaky clean. I had to make follow up appointments for fillings, I had 3 fillings with her yesterday, and the process was the smoothest it has ever been, painless and easy (and this from someone who is really terrified of needles, drills and all that dental stuff). She's a great dentist and I will continue to see her for as long as I'm in NY.

Dr S. was great and actually made visiting the dentist fun. She has a great disposition and chair side manner and takes the time to listen to you and also explain what's going on with your teeth. I also liked the fact I was able to get in as a new patient and get my teeth cleaned on the first visit at the same time. She really goes above and beyond and I even got my old Invisalign retainers cleaned. Thanks Dr S! See you in 6 months!

Overall I had a wonderful experience at Dr. S's. The only negative comment I can make was it did take longer than expected, I had set aside one hour and arrived 15 minutes early (like the staff asked me to) so I could fill out new client paperwork. I sat in the lobby for 10 minutes before a receptionist walked over to the front and asked if I needed help. I then waited another 20-30 minutes until I was taken into my appointment. Once I was seated in the dental chair I had to wait another 5-10 minutes before the hygienist took my x-rays then after getting my x-rays done I waited another 10 until the Dr. showed up. Once the Dr was in the room the experience flowed smoothly. Dr. S was very attentive and thorough, I was highly impressed by her knowledge after only a few minutes of checking out my x-rays. Then I was pleasantly surprised when I received a foot rub from their in house masseuse while my teeth were cleaned, I was completely relaxed during the procedure. I would def recommend Dr.S and am now a patient!

I was in a major bind and was able to get in right away! The receptionist was also amazing and helped me get the right information for my insurance--she was so helpful! Dr. Salehezadeh did not make me wait one minute and saw me right away. She was extremely nice and fixed my chipped tooth perfectly! This will definitely remain my dentist office!

I could not recommend this doctor or her staff more enthusiastically. I never thought I would leave a dentist appointment and immediately text friends raving about it. The office is half art gallery and is beautiful. The office staff is prompt and wonderful. As a person, Dr. S herself could not be more friendly and engaging. As a professional, she is incredibly thorough and clearly very good at her job. Half of my mouth was completely numb but the other half left the DENTIST in full smile! Thank you to the whole team!!

Dr. S has been my dentist for about 5 years now. Most recently, she has been my Invisalign doctor. Like most normal people, I don't exactly like going to the dentist, but these past few years with Dr. S have been the most pleasant (relatively speaking) dental visits. Nice doctor who has always been honest with me and told me the truth about my teeth/hygiene, plus pretty cool staff and location... Thanks to her I will have a beautiful smile very soon:) All around gets my recommendation!

I've been a happy patient for a good few years. at first I was intimated by dr. salehezadeh's honesty, but it really gave me a reality check on my negligence of taking care of my teeth. I now appreciate her, and am thankful for her tough love that brought me to actually wanting to/knowing how to take care of my teeth and improve on my oral hygiene. I'm now going through Invisalign treatment to straighten my teeth, and I couldn't be happier knowing that it will make me look better esthetically, but also my teeth will be healthier. dr. salehezadeh and her staff are warm, kind, personal, friendly, energetic, overall awesome, and I'd recommend this office to family and friends.

I am always very impressed with the level of care and professionalism Dr. Salehezadeh provides at her office along with her staff. I've been a long time patient and had a tremendous amount of work done at this office (sadly I'm not blessed with the finest set of teeth). I really like the new office and the gallery. I usually have to look at the art after my appointment as they're very punctual.
Dr. Salehezadeh communicates clearly and practically about what is to be done and how... I personally like that a lot. Gives me great comfort to know what's going on in there.
I must mention one other thing about this office that's of extreme value to me. Their lab technician Elliot is a true dental artist. I've had major work done due to an accident and the bridge spanned many teeth. The work that comes out of his lab is excellent and not only technically proficient but also aesthetically perfect. I like that the lab work is done in house and adjustments can be made on the fly. It's very efficient for me as a patient.

Having been referred by my best friend, I have been a patient of Dr Shawn since 2007. I go to her for my cleanings twice a year, fillings and more recently Invisalign.
She has got to be the most thorough and gentle cleaner. Compared to my previous experiences with other dentists who usually spend 10 15 minutes cleaning my teeth, she spends at least double the amount of time. My gums are a bit sensitive and her cleanings never bother me. She is extremely gentle but will go to town removing plaque thoroughly.
I have had quite a few cavities. There is one in particular that I had filled previous to seeing to Dr Shawn and the filling would always fall out/chip out after a few months. I went to two other dentists trying to address the issue, but in the end it would fall out. The filling that I have now completed by Dr Shawn a few years back, STILL IN THERE! She makes sure that the filling is smooth on the surface so it does not irritate my gums and also colors the filling to match my teeth.
She noticed that a lot of plaque tended to collect in my bottom teeth and that I showed signs of teeth grinding and recommended that I get Invisalign. Now in my 6th month, I do notice that I have less plaque (this could be due to the fact that I now brush and floss after every meal) and my molars not as sensitive as they used to be. A side benefit, I can see my teeth aligning.
The wait time is often 10 minutes or less. Her office is very clean and quiet. She is an amazing dentist, who is observant and gentle. I recommend her to my family, friends and coworkers.

Attention to detail, great attitude and clean teeth! The staff is always super helpful and polite. Dr. Salehezadeh is beyond accommodating and nice. I have been a patient for a few years now and because of her honesty/seriousness regarding my dental hygiene I've become super aware of what things to do and not do. She is always very up front about your options and does not recommend unnecessary treatment. Always a good experience.
