Thea Wellness

Hi, I’m Ashley Fernandez, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Thea Wellness. I work with adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, OCD, mood changes, feeling overwhelmed, or simply feeling like something hasn’t been quite right. I have a special interest in women’s and perinatal mental health, including pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, and all of the changes that can come along with those stages of life. That being said, Thea Wellness is for everyone, and all adults are welcome. I started Thea because I wanted psychiatric care to feel more human. I don’t want you to feel like you’re walking into an appointment, listing a few symptoms, and walking out with a prescription five minutes later. I want to actually know what’s going on in your life, what’s working, what isn’t, and what you want to feel different. I’ll explain your options, answer your questions, and make decisions with you. Medication can absolutely be part of that conversation, but it’s not the only conversation. And if you’ve had a prescriber before and the experience wasn’t great, I get it. My goal is for you to leave our appointments feeling heard, comfortable, and like you actually understand your care. That’s really why I created Thea Wellness. If this sounds like the kind of care you’ve been looking for, I’d love to meet you. Book an appointment and we’ll start with a conversation about what’s been going on and what you’d like to feel different.
