Thomas Reda MD
Dr. Reda strives to be an agent of change to help fix our current, broken, impersonal primary care system. His visits emphasize the importance of quality primary care, and the value of the time spent one-on-one with your physician.
Think about other insurance you have. Does your mechanic bill your car insurance for oil changes or tune ups? Does your homeowner's policy cover fixing your sidewalk or resurfacing your driveway?
Not that health insurance isn't necessary -- it guarantees that if you develop cancer, have a heart attack, or are hit by a bus and in the ICU for weeks, you won't be bankrupted by hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills.
But in our current system, when a primary care doctor bills your insurance hundreds of dollars for a visit to treat your respiratory infection or high blood pressure or to help you lose weight, it's like your mechanic billing your car insurance $500 for a flat tire. It increases wait times for appointments, it increases your costs for both insurance and co-payments, and it limits the time your doctor has to spend with you so he can see 30 patients a day to make his corporate bosses happy. Ultimately, it all leads to unhappy patients and burnt out doctors.
Direct primary care, with a monthly membership fee that covers as many primary care visits/video visits as your health requires, works like your gym membership. If you want or need it, it is there for you, and you pay for the membership regardless of your usage. When you are healthy and doing well, you have the reassurance that your doctor will be there for you when you need care, not have you see another 'provider' or an urgent care.
Membership options (with a six-month minimum commitment):
ages 12-49 $100/month
ages 50-64 $125/month
ages 65+ $150/month
Single-visit options:
Urgent telemedicine visit (single call): $150
Annual physical: $200
Annual or work physical with paperwork: $350
Preoperative clearance with paperwork: $350
A limited number of one-time visits and telemedicine visits are available. Payment is due upon scheduling for one-time visits. Under no circumstances will any controlled substances be prescribed without an in-person evaluation for medical necessity.

Dr. Reda was friendly, took the time to listen and question, answered all of my questions. He clearly explained his approach on how he works and can treat the issue that I came in for. The appointment wasn't rushed giving adequate time to address a number of things. The office was very comfortable seating and temperature as opposed to many that are "meat-locker" freezing cold. Dr. Reda had ZERO HINT OF AMA arrogance. Unlike other doctors, I truly look forward to going back! :-)

I didn’t plan on getting a new PCP but I really appreciated the professionalism and open-minded nature of this doctor. I ended up making him my primary after the first appointment.
There wasn’t any pressure or judgement to be on/off my current medications. He refilled my current prescriptions. We also discussed future plans for treatment.
I asked questions about natural supplements and instead of dismissing their validity (being outside of textbook western medicine), he wanted to research them to find more information for me. I have found that very rare in my experience.
He also offered to run bloodwork for me for female hormones. Ive asked 5+ doctors to do this for me in the past and have always had pushback.
Only critique was that the internet connection - picture/audio could be better.
10/10 recommend.
