I have been attending sessions with Cheryl since last fall and it has made a substantial difference in my mental health. As someone who did not have great experiences with therapy growing up, Cheryl has fostered a setting of trust, respect, and active and empathic listening since our first session. She is incredible kind, approachable, and very warm in disposition! I cannot speak highly enough of her, she is very invested in the wellbeing of everyone she sees, and will absolutely make that felt as soon as you come in the door. She is very accommodating to my busy and moving schedule, and is always so kind when things come up. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

My first visit with Cheryl was in an effort to heal my relationship with my youngest son. Meeting up for our first appointment, I felt both fear and anticipation. Sitting in a very welcoming and peaceful setting, my fears soon dissipated, and hope began to bubble to the surface. Cheryl has the gift of uncovering truth and revealing untruth, both of which she accomplishes with compassion, clarity, and impartiality. She taught us skills that we greatly needed, acknowledging the difficulty of "reprogramming" our responses to each other and even to ourselves. Cheryl suggested ways to practice our new skills in ways that felt comfortable, secure, feasible. In the end, my son I were able to turn a grim situation into one of incontestable hope.
