Dr. Marcel Green is a double board-certified Child & Adolescent as well as Adult Interventional Psychiatrist. He is a graduate of Columbia University’s medical school, the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai’s adult psychiatry program, and Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell’s child psychiatry fellowship program. He is has practiced extensively within the in- and outpatient settings, within urban, suburban, and rural settings, also within mental health subspecialty settings, and has witnessed how traditional mental health care loses its personal connection and effectiveness through fragmentation and time constraints. This clinical experience has conferred comfort caring for all mental health concerns, in a manner that aligns with your unique strengths and needs. He specializes in contemporary interventions including ketamine treatment, transcranial magnetic stimulation, stellate ganglion blocks, combining these with traditional mental health treatments, as well as select health and wellness interventions to aide your efforts turning pain into passion, curiosity, and contentment, shifting your life experience from surviving to thriving.

This office has the most disorganized, unhelpful staff that I have ever interacted with. First they tried to cancel my appointment because I didn’t fill out the forms immediately (that they sent me in the middle of the workday), then it took a full WEEK to get my prescription sent to my pharmacy. Then it took a second full week to get the pharmacy changed, because my medication is frequently backordered and often needs the pharmacy switched based on where it’s in stock (something I’d expect mental health providers to know). Then my next appointment got moved even though I’d booked it a month in advance. This was only communicated over text; I did not receive a link to the appointment or any official email confirmation, so when I missed the appointment because I had no idea if it was actually booked they charged me a full no-show fee. They did refund it when I emailed back about it, but I’m still extremely frustrated by the whole experience. 0/10 would not recommend!
