Aimee Myatt is awesome and I highly recommend her. I have not had the greatest luck finding a good, helpful, and understanding PMHNP. I was shocked when I started talking to her because I automatically felt comfortable opening up to her. It felt like I was communicating with a best friend and I didn't feel judged or embarrassed about my ADHD. Aimee is super nice and a warm hearted person. She is understanding, knowledgeable, and relatable. I felt like I was actually being heard and not just another number. Aimee was thorough within the appointment getting to know me on multiple levels, which is a great thing when it comes to understanding your patient. She sent me the pre-appointment paperwork/questionnaire ahead of time and even helped me understand the insurance process. I am definitely going back! At the end of my appointment, I booked my follow up appointment. :)

It was such a wonderful to have a doctor actually listen to me, and understand why I felt the way I did. She didn’t make me feel uncomfortable in anyway. I will recommend her to all my family and friends… honestly anyone that will listen to me. This is a hard time for me right now and even something as small as a doctor listening to me, made me feel so validated. It made me feel like my opinion mattered. Amiee was really great and I mean REALLY great. I’ve been to 3 other psychiatrists who have failed to properly classify my ADHD symptoms resulting in treating my side effects rather than the root cause. She even helped me resolve a billing issue with insurance and as you know with ADHD that was enough for me to give up with the process lol. First session went great, she’s easy to talk to and funny as well. If you feel like you’ve had a bunch of bad doctors and are skeptical about booking another appointment I definitely recommend booking with her to get on the right track. ????
