For the past couple of sessions I've had with him he's nothing but a great listener a perfect guy he cares a lot he wants to make sure that you're okay and I would definitely refer him to somebody else he is the best he listens he cares and he would never give something that will hurt you he'll always prescribe to something that will help you and make sure that is okay for you

The doctor took a very in-depth history ?and got to know everything about me. He was very clear on why he was prescribing & what it was for as well as any side effects that I would experience I would say book with him immediately if you have any mental health needs, He’s very efficient. my follow up appointment was made immediately. 10/10! I completely recommend Tony, especially for ADHD! He definitely knows what he is talking about and cares about his patients. Feels good to have a psychiatrist who knows what they are doing and doesn't just prescribe medication on a whim. Very straightforward and thorough.

First appointment was great, the NP asked about childhood history and they send you out for the labs to better help you. I’m already feeling a little more at ease knowing we will work together to resolve my concerns.

It was a very cold interaction he asked me why I wanted medication I told him the hard time I was going through he cut me off after 2 minutes saying we only have 30 minutes (we ended up having 5 minutes left). Got right to business and when he was asking family questions after I just mentioned my dad passed recently he's like so mom’s alive, dad’s dead. Like what a way to say it lol. Very strange. Also my bmi is 31 and its supposed to be 25 apparently and he's like “lets get that down” like i’m aware I work out and eat well BMI isn’t always just fat. Also I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD and he asked me no questions about me currently and was like doesn't seem like you have it based on the questions I just asked. Like you just asked me about my age from 3-9. Just an uncomfortable, cold, dismissive experience.

I avoided all mental healthcare for a decade and held in immense traumas that I dealt with myself. After 10 years, I almost didn’t make the call today. But I’m so grateful I did. For the first time ever, I felt like a human. Dr. Orafunam made me feel safe and validated. I expected to be fully shut out today, and it ended up the complete opposite. I’m extremely thankful I made the jump & that I’ve found him. It’s my time to start to heal, I hope. I never thought I’d be able to say that.
