It was so easy and fast to get scheduled with Shannon. She is so kind and empathetic, Ive had bad experiences in the past with rude, dismissive providers that invalidated my experience and made me very anxious to try again, but as soon as we began talking, my fears were immediately alleviated. I felt heard and validated in our session and could tell she had a genuine investment in leveraging her expertise to help me and improve my quality of life. I am 42 years old and working law enforcement. Brother personally or professionally I have had to see my share of doctors and other specialists in medical professionals throughout my life. I always hated going to the doctor and partially that's because I'm a sever hypochondriac. I normally don't even leave. This is the first time I'm actually looking for to go back to the doctor to see her again. Within the first 2 minutes she put all my fears at rest and made me feel comfortable and welcome. Usually when I'm speaking to doctors I feel like everything I say goes in one ear and out the other but I was blown away by how attentive she was. It was the first time in my life I felt like somebody was actually listening to me in a doctor's office. Not only did she take care of the issue that I came to see her about, but she responded to other medical issues that I had. These were problems that I thought I would have to deal with the rest of my life. wish there was more space to write!!
