I had an exceptional telehealth appointment with Nurse Practitioner Yewande Wilson, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment our session began, she displayed a level of professionalism, knowledge, and compassion that truly set her apart.
She took the time to listen attentively to my concerns, asked thoughtful follow-up questions, and provided clear, detailed explanations for everything we discussed. Her ability to make me feel heard and valued as a patient was refreshing. I never felt rushed, and she ensured that I fully understood my treatment plan before we wrapped up.

Dr. Wilson was amazing today. I’ve had a bad experience with the doctors in Texas and was looking for somebody to actually listen to what I was feeling. She was amazing. I appreciate that we will be starting slowly with this process. I definitely recommend her to others that feel like their doctor maybe just listening to respond. She gave me a clear outline on the process she will be taking with me, as well as why she was prescribing me my medication very clearly which is something that I haven’t gotten when it came to my mental health. I don’t think she truly understands how much everything she said helped me and I’m so grateful that I found her on this app.

MY fault, not used to using Zocdoc I was late, 10 minutes, on paperwork. Also make sure you have the video ability. My laptop was not ready but I was able to connect via a phone call. Excellent. Great lady with deep knowledge. I would love to meet in person but must look closer to home first. If not, I will be there in person.

I felt actually heard and listened to for once, without any judgement for my rambling. I received a diagnosis for ADHD, got prescribed a safe medication, and was able to go and get my medication all in the same day. She was very sweet, understanding, and direct. She chose words that didn’t leave me with any confusion or misunderstanding, and explained everything in detail. I’m confident that I’m finally getting help that will be effective and impactful in a great way!!

Love that I can typically get an appointment same day with Dr. Awah! She is our go to if we need a telemedicine appointment to see a general practitioner. She’s great about sending scripts over minutes after the appointment and sends exactly what we discuss. Great find!

This provider was a very understanding provider for my complex issues. She listened and understood my struggles. She did her best at not showing any judgement towards my problems. She went through my medications from my prior psychiatrist. She walked us through all of them and detailed
the mix of them causing reactions. She listened to my desires and acknowledged them, and truly understood my questions answered them all genuinely and professionally.
I am very hopeful that this will be my provider for my mental health for the upcoming future of my treatment plan.

Dr. Wilson is a true gem! I have never felt so comfortable, supported, and relieved after meeting with a physician. I truly felt she cared about me personally and it was only my first appointment. This visit was the worst possible experience. Yewande Wilson was rude, didn’t listen and talked over me the entire time, and then proceeded to personally insult me. To end this appointment where she was supposed to help me find answers on my severe bipolar 1, psychosis, and depression and anxiety she decided it would be best to hang up on an at risk patient who lived alone. This visit alone has made me not trust Zocdoc or any of the providers on it, and also has extinguished my hope of finding help for my symptoms. Shortly after the visit with her unprofessional behavior was over, I had an intense panic attack. I believe she needs to not work with people who have mental illnesses as she has no bedside manner and clearly does not care about the welfare of her patients.
