Please note, our practice CANNOT accept Medicaid or Medicare. We can also NOT accept any HMO policies.
Insurance is processed through 'Hello Alma' and 'Headway', if they don't take it we can't either.
Our cash pay rate is $350 for new patients and $150 - $250 for follow-up visits depending on services provided.

Rebecca R. Blackwell, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
Rebecca Blackwell is a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner offering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals across the lifespan. As the founder of True North Psychiatric, she provides telehealth services to clients in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas, and West Virginia, blending scientific expertise with a warm, personalized approach to treatment.
Rebecca believes in a collaborative model of care, where patients are empowered to take an active role in their mental health journey. She prioritizes listening closely to each individual's experiences and values, using that insight to co-create a treatment plan that supports both symptom relief and long-term well-being. Her practice emphasizes transparency, education, and respect ensuring patients feel heard, informed, and supported at every step.
Rebecca has extensive experience treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, addiction, borderline personality disorder, and trauma-related conditions. Her background also includes specialized work in pediatric genetics, inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, and behavioral health for geriatric populations. She is known for her expertise in ADHD management and her ability to connect with patients across all ages.
Rebecca earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Vermont, her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington, and a Post-Masters Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from West Coast University. Over the course of her 20 year career, she has served in roles ranging from NICU nurse to pediatric pulmonary clinic lead, and from clinical genetics NP to behavioral health hospital provider. She continues to stay current in her field through active memberships with the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and more.
In every patient interaction, Rebecca's goal is to offer thoughtful, individualized care that fosters clarity, resilience, and growth. Whether she’s treating a young adult navigating life transitions or a senior struggling with chronic anxiety, her focus remains the same: holistic care rooted in science, compassion, and lasting partnership.

The appt itself was good with exception of dismissing a Dx by another provider. My major issue is I was told I'd be prescribed two meds. Been checking my script portal for 3 days now and still don't see they've been sent. Messaged dr two hours ago and have still not heard back. That's a little frustrating. I am now considering canceling my next appt. If dr can't follow through I have no confidence in them. Feel lied to and played with by yet one more person.
