U-First Health and Wellness operates as a Direct Primary Care Practice.
Direct Primary Care, or DPC, is a new way of providing primary care that's already helped a quarter million people stay healthier and spend less on healthcare. Patients at DPC practices often receive ongoing primary care from their doctor with zero copays, convenient online scheduling options, near-wholesale prices on medications and blood tests, some home visit options and even their doctor's direct contact information. I just moved to Washington, DC and was looking for a new primary care provider and honestly selected Dr. Hebou solely based on proximity to work and my insurance policy, but feel that I have gotten so much more than just convenience by choosing her as my doctor! At my first appointment she was very kind and attentive, taking the time to answer my questions, asking questions and listening to the answers. She was not rushed at all and the office was pretty much on time (I waited longer for the other staff and the lab work than for her). She seems like a great, knowledgeable, friendly, patient doctor who genuinely cares about your ongoing health! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor in DC metro area -- on top of her good nature and competence, her office is especially conveniently located for anyone working in the McPherson Square area.

I am transitioning to this doctor as my main PCP. Overall it was a great inital intake appointment and wen through all of the points for a physical. Met all my immediate needs and set me up for referrals for my ongoing needs with specialists.
The location is nice and a very easy 3 minute walk from McPherson Square metro stop (blue, orange, and silver line). This is a great location for anyone working in the Farragut and McPherson area.
Looking forward to seeing how my relationship with Dr. Hebou evolves.

I have been searching for a good PCP in the DC area for nearly 5 years now, and I'm glad I finally found her. Dr. Hebou was wonderful - very warm, attentive, and thoughtful.
