Welcome to Upper Echelon Medical, an Integrative Direct Primary Care practice in north Orange County, where we’re removing barriers so patients can get the care they need, when they need it. Where patients have their physician in their corner, to care for them when they get sick, but more importantly, to keep them healthy. In a world, where being taken care of by a stranger is the norm at an urgent care, our patients are cared for by the physician they know. Our physicians are patients too, so we know how hard it is to receive the care when you need it. Our vision is simple: patients deserve direct care from their physician. Dr Marisse spent a long time discussing my health history and had great bedside manners and spoke in Laymans terms and made sure I understood everything she explained. Very approachable, compassionate and wants to be a partner in a doctor patient relationship. I appreciate Dr. Marisse’s outlook on practicing health over practicing medicine. She looks at things holistically and wants to get to the root of the issue and not just mask symptoms with medication. She’s a bright light in an industry where patient-Doctor partnerships are rare and where billing overrides the mission of patient care. I highly recommend her.

Wow! This is how healthcare should be. I feel like not telling others would be greedy. The amazing care of Dr. Marisse is worth it many times over. She doesn’t rush you out. Everything I read about her and her practice is true. I drive 20 miles to see her and I would drive even further. Seriously, it’s worth it. I like the DPC model instead of the insurance craziness. Not only that, but it makes way more sense to continually be a client. Upper Echelon’s model isn’t something I was familiar with, but seriously as many visits as you need, plus services from others at cost/wholesale…I mean, come on…this is an industry game changer. I could go on and on, but I’ll spare you. The care and service is superb and efficient. Booking an appointment is easy and convenient. Oh and on top of all that, I love their office. It’s clean and modern and has a really nice vibe. So glad I found them!

This is not your typical doctor’s office. The wait time is very short and you get to have a one on one conversation about your medical condition longer than the usual time at a hospital or a crowded clinic. This clinic does not take health insurance and it is self-pay. I rather pay for a better quality care than having to wait for a long time just to see a doctor for a short period of time. If you want a doctor that care about you and have more time to talk about your health, then this is the place. Dr. Herrera is very friendly and straightforward with her answers. The visit wasn’t too short, but also not too long. It was about 35 minutes long, which is more than enough at a typical doctors office. Overall, this clinic deserves a 5 star ????

Today was my first appointment and I've already begun recommending this office to my friends. I am 26 and just came off my parents insurance. Now I am having my first major health issue but I don't go to the doctor enough to justify paying for health insurance and thousands in deductibles. This doctors office is PERFECT for me! Friendly and knowledgable staff. Affordable care and medications, even with everything being out-of-pocket. This was an incredible experience!
